Cancer is the number one cause of death in children age 5-14. ~ ~ Cancer takes the lives of 7 children a day on average. ~ ~ The causes of most childhood cancers are unknown. ~ ~ At present, childhood cancer cannot be prevented.
Proceeds benefit the Center for Childhood Cancer at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. You can find it by searching for “Gold Ribbon Awareness” plate on the Ohio BMV website.
GREAT NEWS… Scholarship applications will be in shortly and it looks like year number 3 has the most applicants yet! Can hardly wait until May when Faith’s mom, Sarah McGuire Worley and I award $1000 to a lucky Westerville High School senior.
