WESTERVILLE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION / FAITH PRUDEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: This $1,500 Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who will be attending a traditional or non-traditional college studying cosmetology, the arts, culinary studies or fire services. Proceeds benefit the Center for Childhood Cancer at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. You can find it by searching for “Gold Ribbon Awareness” plate on the Ohio BMV website.
Cancer is the number one cause of death in children age 5-14. ~ ~ Cancer takes the lives of 7 children a day on average. ~ ~ The causes of most childhood cancers are unknown. ~ ~ At present, childhood cancer cannot be prevented.
