If you know a graduating senior attending a Central Ohio School (public or private) that is a cancer survivor or is currently coping with a cancer diagnosis, encourage them to apply. This year’s deadline is March 31, 2015. For more information, click here.
Tomorrow, Friday, February 4 is WORLD CANCER DAY! World Cancer Day is a global observance that helps raise people’s awareness of cancer and how to prevent, detect or treat it. This event is held on February 4 each year. Help spread awareness…..’cuz cancer stinks!!!

Cancer is the number one cause of death in children age 5-14. ~ ~ Cancer takes the lives of 7 children a day on average. ~ ~ The causes of most childhood cancers are unknown. ~ ~ At present, childhood cancer cannot be prevented.
